A Soldiers Story The rifleman fights without promise of either reward or relief. Behind every river there's another hill, and behind that hill, another river. This site is dedicated to all former "paddy sloggers" of the 9th Infantry Division and to our "brothers" who died in the rice paddies of Vietnam. Relax and enjoy your visit. There are no red ants or leeches here nor will you hear that distinctive crack of an AK. Please view and sign my guestbook. I would like to hear from anyone who served with the 9th, especially those who served with the 2/39th. I hope this can become the website of the whole battalion.
